Lima, Ohio (WIMA) - Lima City Schools Food Service Director Carrie Woodruff will take part in the U-S House and Senate briefings on the Community Eligibility Provision- which insures low-income students have access to healthy meals.

Woodruff joined the Food Research and Action Center and the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities during Tuesdays briefing.

The Community Eligibility Provision is included in the Healthy- Huger-Free Kids Act.

Lima City Schools is also one of the few school districts in the nation to serve almost as many breakfast meals as it does lunches.
