Lima, Ohio (WIMA) - Rhodes State College will offer training under the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) this summer.

The MSSC is an industry-led training- assessment and certification system that focuses on core skills and knowledge required for modern front line and material handling workers.

Under the eight week program- students will participate in the computer based training and hands on labs in Safety- Manufacturing Processes and Production- and Maintenance Awareness.

Qualified persons may receive funding to cover tuition and book costs from Workforce Investment Act and other programs- and the program begins June 23rd with a registration deadline of June 6th.
