Lima, Ohio (WIMA) - The Findlay Highway Patrol Post announced on Thursday that two OVI checkpoints will be held in Hancock County tonight and early Saturday morning.

The checkpoints are funded by federal grant funds.

State troopers make an average of twenty-five thousand OVI arrests each year in an attempt to combat these dangerous drivers.

OVI checkpoints are designed to not only deter impaired driving- but to proactively remove these dangerous drivers from our roadways.
