City Threatens To Arrest Sand Castle Builders

Talk about the no fun police. One beautiful city in the Phillipeans is going to extreme lengths to stop people from building sand castles on their beaches. Boracay is one of the most picturesque islands of the Philippines. It's beaches attract tourists from around the world. However, President Rodrigo Duterte doesn't think the island is all that great. The president closed the island for six months, giving accommodation providers the time they needed to fix their sewage and waste problems. Drinking on the beach is now restricted, fireworks are no longer allowed, and police are cracking down on the beachfront’s iconic Boracay sandcastles made by kids to earn some money from tourists. If caught, the sandcastle builders can face time in jail due to one of the island’s laws. As it turns out, these sand castle builders were also robbing tourists. There have been complaints about being forced to pay for taking photos of the sand castles while some others were even robbed while taking pictures. Be very careful if someone offers to build you a sand castle on Boracay Island.
