Thomas Rhett Wraps Tour With First-Ever Headlining Show In Nashville

Thomas Rhett wrapped his “Very Hot Summer Tour” at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Saturday, and put on quite a show.

The concert featured special guests Little Big Town, who joined him for their collaboration “Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time.” He also brought out Hardy for “Nothin’ Round Here,” with Florida Georgia Line’sTyler Hubbard jumping on stage to join them.

“This is the very last show of the ‘Very Hot Summer’ tour, and it finally cooled down in Nashville,” he told the crowd. “Y’all, this is a very full-circle moment for me, because I was born in Georgia, but I grew up in Hendersonville, Tennessee,” adding, “...I've seen a lot of stuff happen in this arena. And of all the years I've been on tour, I've never gotten to play a headlining show in Bridgestone Arena. So this is my first time ever. Thanks so much.”

  • The night was also special because Thomas was celebrating his seventh wedding anniversary with wife Lauren, who was in the audience with their two daughters. He took to Instagram to pay tribute to his wife, writing, “I can’t believe the Lord has blessed me with 7 amazing years of marriage with @laur_akins. It’s tough to put into words how crazy the ride has been." He added, “We have changed and grown In so many ways and I literally find new ways to love you every single day. There is no one in the world like you babe.”
