It’s nearly impossible for country fans not to love Luke Bryan and his family, so many of them might be itching to know how the country giant proposed to his wife. Caroline recalled the sweet story as she spoke with Bobby Bones on an episode of BobbyCast on Friday morning (February 25).
Caroline explained that she’d been away for work for two weeks before heading to Turks and Caicos with Bryan. After arriving home, Caroline noticed that her soon-to-be fiancé was dressed up and had shaved, “which, you know, Luke shaving doesn’t happen much… I thought he just missed me.” But soon, subtle clues hinted to Caroline that something bigger was happening...
“He had made this CD of like our favorite songs in college, and then he told me he was taking me somewhere to eat. Then he put a blindfold on me, which I thought — I knew something was up then. ….Then he took me, and he just walked me up these steps. He took (the blindfold) off, and he was on one knee.”
Caroline told Bobby that “of course” it was an easy “yes” when her now-superstar husband popped the question. They tied the knot in 2006.
Bobby and Caroline also spoke on the BobbyCast episode about how she and Bryan raise their kids as famous parents, how the power couple met (and broke up, before eventually getting married), her clothing line and her organizations. She also “shares stories on Luke’s rise to fame, how it affected their family and the one thing in Luke’s career that shook her,” according to BobbyCast.
