After being available internationally for years, it’s finally time for the arrival of Coke with Coffee in the U.S. This new Coca-Cola product was first announced over the summer for the January arrival and it’s made with Brazilian coffee in dark blend, vanilla and caramel flavors.
There’s also a calorie-free zero sugar version and each 12-ounce can has 69mg of caffeine – about half as much as a 12-ounce cup of coffee, but much more than what’s usually in a can of Coke. So why now? The company is streamlining their product offerings and dropped Tab and Odwalla last year to focus on its most powerful products.
Coke with Coffee started as a pilot product in Japan in 2018 and since then has been available in over 30 world markets including Australia, Italy and Vietnam so now it’s our turn! The company has spent two years testing the product before the U.S. launch and it’s designed to appeal to customers looking for an afternoon caffeine pickup that’s an alternative to regular coffee.
