Stupid criminal of the day

A Georgia man faces his fifth shoplifting charge after stealing a 55-inch TV from Walmart and asking police for a ride home. Police had confronted Tayvon Wilson earlier on the day of his arrest after he was spotted at the South Columbus Public Library punching a tree. He was treated for cuts to his hands. Later that morning, Wilson had gone to a nearby Walmart where he walked straight out of the automotive section with a 55-inch Samsung TV valued at $524. He then turned up at a police precinct complaining about the cuts on his hands and asked them to take him and his TV home. When asked where he got the TV, Wilson said he purchased it, but couldn’t show a receipt. By that time police received word of the stolen Walmart TV and arrested Wilson. He’s charged with shoplifting and is being held on $1,000 bond. He’s also been ordered to stay away from Columbus area Walmarts.
