- Man Robs Bank Then Buys Lotto Tickets: A man who was suspected of robbing a PNC bank in Michigan was found a few hours later with more than $4-thousand cash on him and several lotto tickets. According to the police report, the man was wearing distinctive sandals that easily identified him as the robbery suspect. The man reportedly entered the bank early Thursday wearing a fishing hat, khaki pants and sunglasses. He set a backpack on the floor and handed tellers a note that said his bag contained a bomb and to put all their cash into the bag he gave to them. The teller did so putting in $4,750. The man took it and ran leaving the backpack on the floor. When bomb squad came to handle the threat they found the backpack just contained clothes. The man was found around 1:20am the next morning wandering U.S. 131 with $4.468, Michigan Lottery tickets purchased a half hour after the robbery took place and a blood alcohol level three times the legal driving limit.
