September 18, 2018
The Bottom Line: Toby to be honored in Nashville in December
The Full Story:
Toby Keith has been chosen as this year’s recipient of the Nashville Symphony's Harmony Award, which is handed out to those who represent the “harmonious spirit of Nashville’s musical community." He’ll receive the honor December 8th during the 34th annual Symphony Ball at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and he will also perform at the event.
Symphony Ball chairs Katie Crumbo and Laurie Seabury say they choose Toby for his "selfless contributions to the world around him...that prove his impact reaches well beyond music."
Previous Harmony Award honorees include Bela Fleck, Dolly Parton, Marty Stuart, Taylor Swift and Trisha Yearwood.
