Loretta Lynn is back at home after a brief hospitalization this weekend that had some fans a little bit scared.
As we previously told you, Loretta was forced to miss the CMT Artist of the Year celebration, where she was awarded with the Artist of a Lifetime Award, after coming down with something. Well, over the weekend a relative named Michael Lynn claimed her condition was very serious.
"I am very sad to report this morning that the Queen of Country Music, Ms. Loretta Lynn has had some setbacks in her recovery and is back in the hospital with some serious issues," he wrote. "She needs our prayers right now, and the one thing I do know for sure is that she is a fighter and will not go down easy. PLEASE pray today for her."
But Loretta herself was quick to take to Facebook to clear things up, assuring fans she was doing better. She shared that she watched the CMT show “more than once now,” noting she is “so proud of the amazing job all the girls did!” She then added, “I was so disappointed to have missed it because I was sick. After a brief hospital visit, I’m feeling better now and enjoying a weekend of resting up at home.”
