- Tourist Suing Graceland Hotel For Causing Marital Issues: TheGuest House at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee is being sued by a Swiss tourist who claims the hotel gave him the hearing condition tinnitus that led to marital problems. Hans-Peter Gauch was staying at the hotel across the street from Graceland back in 2017, when he says the hotel failed to turn off a false fire alarm for half an hour. Gauch says he ended up being diagnosed with tinnitus, which he claims led to marriage issues with his wife that caused them to start living apart. He’s seeking $75,000 for negligence and non-compliance with fire codes.
