Man Chews Up Police Car Seat After Arrest

Not sure if this guy had anything to eat before being arrested on drug charges but he's now facing additional charges for what he did in the backseat of a patrol car last week. Florida deputies say that Melvin Stubbs was originally arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking and resisting arrest after he was found with more than 40 grams of cocaine during a traffic stop.  Seems that Stubbs knew he was going to be in big trouble and tried to flee the officers. They eventually tased him and took him into custody. When he was placed in the back of the patrol car, Stubbs began kicking the passenger side of the vehicle. He also chewed off a "large piece" of the back seat of the patrol car causing at least $1,000 in damage, the sheriff's office said. He was later charged with property damage due to damage to the vehicle.
